Where it started

Built from music, family, and years of New York events.

Sounds & Sirens started as a family name and grew into a full event entertainment and production company. Today we handle weddings, private parties, nightlife, venue programming, festivals, and brand events across New York.

The Bronx is where it started. Today we work across NYC, Westchester, and the tristate with good music, clean sound, strong visuals, reliable gear, and a crew that comes prepared.

Our Story

A family name, a New York event company, and a decade of nights we’re proud of.

Sounds & Sirens started with Mike Nickerson Sr.’s car and home audio work — a home-based Bronx business with a handmade label by the door and a reputation for making things sound right.

In 2016, Mike Nickerson Jr. brought the name back through DJ work, nightlife, weddings, karaoke, live sound, and event production. Since then, Sounds & Sirens has grown into a full event entertainment and production company serving NYC, Westchester, and beyond.

The name is family.
After Mike Sr. passed in 2019, the name became something to carry forward — through the work, the events, the family behind it, and the people who book us for weddings, parties, shows, and venue nights.

Common questions

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can, especially for May, June, September, October, and holiday dates. If your event is soon, still reach out — we’ll tell you what is available.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A deposit holds the date. The balance is due closer to the event, based on the quote and agreement.

What areas do you serve?

NYC, Westchester, lower Hudson Valley, and parts of the tristate depending on the event.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry event liability coverage and can provide a certificate of insurance when your venue requires it.
